    Lost beagle
The rescue I got my beagles from has posted a notice for one of their dogs who escaped his owner the day after he was adopted. He escaped in Rockville, is profoundly shy, and doesn't know the area. There have been several sightings of him but no one has been able to catch him. Below is a link to a blog page they set up to help find him. If you live in the Rockville area and see him or catch him please let them know. He was lost April 4th, so he's been out on his own for a week now.

    Moving
Once again I am packing up to move. I have moved every single year since I started college, and it's getting old! Maybe I will be bale to stay in this place for TWO years in a row. That would be nice! We get our keys Tuesday, then Laura and I will move our stuff gradually over the week, ending on Sat with the moving truck and strong guys for moving the big stuff. So if you dont see much of me this week, that's why!

    ASPCA
Does anyone else cry every time that ASPCA commercial with the Sarah McLaughlin song "Angel"?? I end up crying everytime. Seriously sobbing. Then I saw the commercial about the polar bears starving and dying because of climate change.

TV is trying to make me clinically depressed today

Hello everyone. As usual I haven't posted in ages. Quick update on my life:

I've been in Columbia all summer, cleaning my parents house for them and being generally lazy.

I'm engaged, but still no wedding date set. Hoped to get that figured out this summer, but we kinda want to know if Case will be going back to school next fall before we set anything in stone. Plus, I have no idea how to go about planning one, so I haven't done much besides look at pretty dresses and flowers online

I will be teaching without a classroom for the second year in a row. I'll be sharing the music room with my co-worker Jackie again. We don't have a band teacher yet, and Jackie may be having surgery in the beginning part of the school year. It could be a stressful first quarter.

I'm moving the first week of Sept. Going from a three level townhouse to a 2 bedroom apartment. Good news is that is is in Wildewood, 5-10 minutes from my school and much closer to everything else as well. Always good to save on gas money!

My beagles are utterly adorable and mostly they've been well behaved this summer. There was the week where all three beagles (including mom's) were sick and kept me up most nights. That was no fun, and I'm glad it is over with.

I still have two weeks left in Columbia if anyone wants to get together. Unfortunately, I only have weekdays left, my weekends are filled. Give me a call or email or something if you want to see me!

    Love to all

    GRRRRR
I HATE it when website forms don't work they are supposed to!

Stupid website has erased my data 6 times already, saying I do not have something filled out that I DO have filled out!! And I can't find anything in the help section to explain it to me. I hope someone contacts me and lets me know how to get it to work before I smash things...

    Odd request
    Hello everyone.

I had an idea for my classroom of setting up a listening station where students who were done work early could listen to some classical music, or even working on projects involving listening to music individually. So I was thinking I could get some cheap portable CD players for my classroom. Problem is, they aren't that cheap, not when you want to have a significant amount. If anyone has upgraded to Ipod and has a portable CD player they never use, could I buy it off you cheap? I figured I could build my collection slowly. So yeah, if you have one you've been meaning to get rid of, one you don't use, let me know, I'd be glad to take it off your hands!

Hope everyone is having a good summer. I'd love to see people, and I'm around till mid August, so give me a call. Even if you just want to see me to put me to work painting or moving ;) I'm up for it!!

    Summer Vacation
The nice thing about summer vacation is that I don't have to work, yet I still get a paycheck every two weeks. The bad thing is: almost no one else is in the same situation and I'm getting bored!! I can only do so much housework (even though mom pays me a little bit to do it) without going stir crazy. Also, since I am in Columbia, there are three dogs in the house, and I can't go anywhere much in the evenings because that would stick my parents with all three dogs to supervise. Mom doesn't mind much, but Dad can only hand so much of that.

Sorry, I know almost all of you are working, and I am glad that I get time off, but I just don't have quite enough things to fill it

    Relay for Lilfe help!
    Hey everyone,

I am really, really behind the eight ball on this one! But I'm running in Relay for Life St. Mary's County on June 7th. It's like National Race for the Cure only it's local. If you want to donate for me/my team I've put the link for my personal page. I'm short of my goal cause I kept forgetting to ask people, so if you have a little money (and haven't given it all to Debbie who actually gets stuff done ON TIME), donate to me? I will love you forever! :)

I hope that link words, let me know if it doesn't...

    Thanks all

    hello all
You will have to forgive me telling everyone this way, but it is easier than calling everyone, and I'm not sure I actually have all your phone numbers

    Casey and I are engaged!

No date set yet or anything, it is probably at least a year away because we have to manage to be in the same area job or school wise, so we're working on that first.

But yeah, after eight years, finally engaged:)

    Breaks my heart
The beagle rescue I got my dogs from keeps sending me emails about helping. They just got a call from a rural shelter where they have 8 small beagles who are in danger because the shelter is so incredibly full and they are looking for fosters. It breaks my heart because I just can't do it. And they also have a dog with a fractured dog due to tooth decay and she needs surgery. I just hate people who are cruel or neglectful to animals.

If anyone was planning on getting me something for my birthday (and you are under no obligations anyways, you know that) please donate to beaglemaryland.org instead. They really need the money and they work so hard to rescue those animals.

    Requiem for Bonnie
Mom put Bonnie down this morning. She had a bad seizure last night, it took her an hour to get back onto her feet and she has whimpering the whole time. I didn't get to see her, I didn't even know it was happening until hours after the fact. It needed to be done but still, I wish I could have seen her. She was 13 years old and I miss her horribly already. I don't even want to think what it will be like when I visit home.

    Vote for Beagles!
Okay, so here is a plug for donations to a worthy cause.

The rescue I adopted my dogs from is doing photo calendar contest with pictures of beagles rescued from it's group. I have submitted pictures of my two knuckleheads of course. Voting occurs online through the end of October. It's is $1 per vote to vote for which pictures should be in the thing. Check is out, you don't even have to vote for mine (but they are cute and you should - Tasha and Trooper). All the money goes to help the rescue with medical bills they have to cover when they rescue these dogs.

...And if anyone wants to buy wrapping paper from Sally Foster, my school is selling that, send me a message if you want to look, I think the catalog is online and such

Hope all is well, see you at Trina's B-Day party I hope!
